Adventure in the Woods Family Fun Festival…..Three Night Camping Bank Holiday Weekend Extravaganza
How Long is this event?…….A three night camping experience with one and half days of activities
Who is this for?………Family Friendly…..For adults and children alike, we even accept well behaved dogs.
What is the setting?…..A chilled out woodland environment with no wifi & poor phone reception. A place to explore and have fun together in a beautiful woodland setting.
What should I bring?….. Yourselves & your tent with bed & bedding! After that our advice is travel light, it all has to be packed, unpacked and repacked and it never goes back in as easily as it come out! Pack for the weather, pack to eat, pop in a bat and ball and you should be fine. We will provide the fire pit & BBQ, you may need to share, but that’s the fun of a festival. We will set up a washing up station, but bring tea towels & bin bags, a cool box too, we are off-grid, no luxuries like a fridge.

- Pizza & hot pot meal with cakes, fruit & yogurt on Sunday evening
- Mini disco on Sunday evening.
- Marshmallows round the communal campfire on Sunday.
What time does the fun begin?…….Friday…arrival from 4pm
Why join us? …….Our Mini Festival is all about inviting families to step into a world of imagination, curiosity, and outdoor play. Inspired by ……………. we’re creating a magical woodland experience that encourages children to explore, create, and wonder. Our afternoon session will be an exciting collection of activities inspired by ‘………………………..’.
Using natural materials, open-ended activities, and storytelling. We want to show that meaningful, joyful experiences don’t need to be expensive or over-produced-just rooted in nature, creativity, and connection. Our aim is to get families outdoors, spark imaginative play, and celebrate the joy of being a little bit curious together.
It’s a fantastic relationship building opportunity for all, a place to get together and enjoy a fabulous variety of activities from yoga & sound bowls to forest school and bushcraft.
You & your youngsters bonding over open fire cooking, roasting marshmallows, exploring all aspects of our themed activities & survival skills, woodcraft… getting creative in the woodwork room, make a mallet or whistle for example, weaving, willow festival crowns, archery & air rifle shooting, shelter building, fire lighting, as well as the zip wire, rope swing, getting muddy in mud kitchen, water play & sand pit and much more. Getting to know your fellow campers.
Here is the detail:
Arrive on Friday evening from 4pm, get settled and have your own BBQ.
On Saturday join us for lunch at 12.30pm (£2 per head) for GF/DF pasta, homemade soup & a roll, fruit, cake & yogurt; followed by an afternoon of fun activities!.

Parent will need to stay for this day of fun & are entirely responsible for their supervision!
We will end with a cake icing completion and a tea party which is included in your ticket price.
On Sunday at 10.30am you can head up to forest school and let the fun begin. Your day at forest school will all be wrapped up at 4.00pm and you will be free to head back to the campsite, but don’t forget Pizza Night is included and will be open from 5pm.
We will ensure you are well fed and watered with your help, we will get you creating and cooking using the lovely ingredients provided by us and then when all is done at Forest School you can head to your campsite and use all the facilities to continue to build new friendships through our campsite games.
From 5pm-9pm we will open up for pizza night on the events venue with a mini disco. You will be provided with pizza, salad & a vegan options, a soft drink and cake & fruit/yogurt.
Finish the evening off with a mini disco, our communal campfire and marshmallows.
Monday …. relax in the space or explore the area of beautiful Shropshire, Ironbridge or Shrewsbury. Check out 4pm.
Please note…Camping will be split between our campsite pitches and our lovely big field, we will give you shelter for cooking or sitting under, a couple of BBQ’s and a large fire pit & some games creating a lovely communal space. You will have access to the playing field and all the other amenities of the campsite.
Huts & tents are available on a first come first serve basis at an additional cost of £50 per unit for the three nights of the weekend. Check out for these is 12noon, but you are welcome to stay on site and use the facilities 4pm.
