Move your classroom outdoors and use our space and facilities as part of your home education programme.

Explore all we have to offer March to November inclusive on the fourth Friday of each month. Booking should be made on the ‘Booking an Event’ page. 

We have books, laminated ID sheets, bug pots, a small pond, woodcraft room, general craft room, physical activity equipment ranging from a zip wire to rope swing. We have a mud kitchen and den building area. Resources behind the scenes are vast and you may request equipment for the woodcraft room and things such as fire lighting kits. There is always one member of staff available to assist as needed, please always ask, if we have you may borrow it!

We endeavour to provide you with the tools to lead your own learning as well as provide one led topic of our own. The age range is wide so sometimes our led session will be aimed at younger members and on other occasions we will seek to meet the needs of older attendees. 

We will always have the fire lit and will have a basic stock cupboard of bread mix, herbs & spices etc, but we anticipate you will bring your own ingredients if your learning requires the open fire. On occasion our led session will be based around cooking on the open fire. We will let you know when this is the case.

We ALWAYS anticipate that you will wash your own utensils up and assist with clearing up at the end.
