This is a two day forest skills course which includes simple fire training, When completing the fire safety aspect of the course there will be an expectation that you will provide some evidence of safe practice and there will be one follow up assessment that will require you to be videoed with six children demonstrating good practice. One section of the training will include simple safe woodcraft tool use.

It is designed to equip people with the skills to deliver outdoor fun and education developmental opportunities to a good standard. We will explore the way the outdoors can be used to fulfil curriculum requirements as well as the importance of the outdoors for exploration and well-being. Recognised certificate for Telford & Wrekin & Shropshire councils given at the end of the course.
